Monthly management insights

The top level of our Better Bookkeeping service, you won’t just get a set of accounts once a year, we’ll provide you with a fully reconciled set of accounts each month or each quarter. The key component of these are the executive summary, which gives you a top-level overview of your business performance. We will run through the reports with you, highlighting financial performance and exploring opportunities to increase cashflow and profit margins.

Better bookkeeping

We’ll build your business a bespoke tech stack that streamlines data entry, meaning we’ll have time to check-in and reconcile your transactions on a daily basis. You’ll have access to your financial information in real-time, all of the time. Our automated processes also mean it won’t cost you any more than you’d spend on standard bookkeeping services, even though it’s so much better! Our remit doesn’t need to end there either; if you want to hand over the reigns entirely, we can also take over your invoicing, and manage supplier payments and relations for you (but it’s cool if you’d rather keep these in-house too!).

VAT returns

We’ll prepare and submit your quarterly VAT returns for you. Keeping you well aware of your VAT liabilities and the VAT-man happy! Our process is designed so that you never miss a filing deadline, and you get two week’s notice of what’s going to be debited from your account.

Payroll preparation and management

Let us take the hassle out of payroll. We can look after your weekly or monthly payroll, including dealing with HMRC and your Auto-enrolment pension scheme provider.

All for a simple, transparent monthly fee, based on the number of employees.

If there is something additional you want us to help with, we’ll let you know the cost in advance and you’ll always have final sign-off.
