Cypher is pleased to announce the acquisition of Abingdon-based accountancy practice Strata.
Creating a 20-strong team, the business will continue to act as a strategic growth partner for our clients.
This move will see Strata’s founder, Phil Colmer join Cypher’s senior leadership team as a board member alongside Cypher founder Matt Williams, Payroll Director, Louise Williams and Cypher’s two, newly promoted, Operational Directors, Lauren Johnson and Nuala James.
It will also add the Strata client base to the growing number of businesses supported by Cypher.
Having recently celebrated five years in business, realising year on year organic growth, this acquisition will further accelerate Cypher’s growth strategy and represent another boost for clients who will continue to receive bookkeeping and tax expertise, along the very highest level of strategic financial support whenever they need it as part of a monthly fee model.
This opportunity was possible because Cypher and Strata shared a vision for what a digital accountancy firm can, and should offer to entrepreneurs and business owners whatever growth stage their business is at.
Cypher and Strata have a similar client-base of entrepreneurial businesses and have both built an accountancy business based on a consistent digital first approach to client care and infrastructure.
